How to use a Calma Baby Cocoon?

What is the difference with a normal swaddling?
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
Are Calma Baby cocoons safe?
Yes — and safety is the foundation everything else is built on.
No seams, no buttons, no zips. The Cocoon is fully seamless — nothing to press against your baby's skin, no hard parts near the face or body. Every detail is designed with contact safety in mind.
Extrafine merino wool — the softest grade on the market. Not all merino is equal. Extrafine merino has the highest softness rating available — fine enough to sit directly against a newborn's skin without any risk of irritation or scratching. It is also naturally hypoallergenic, making it suitable even for the most sensitive skin.
The merino wool regulates temperature. Overheating is one of the leading risk factors in infant sleep. Extrafine merino naturally adapts to your baby's body temperature, reducing the risk of thermal discomfort.
Always place your baby on their back, on a firm, flat mattress. The Cocoon is designed for back sleeping on a firm, flat surface only — never on a sofa, cushion, or inclined surface. This is non-negotiable, in line with safe sleep guidelines.
Always check the fit before use. The top of the Cocoon must sit at shoulder level or below — never near the face or neck.
